Our customers include private boat owners, boatyard operators, and industrial companies. We specialize in boat maneuvering on land, in particular boat lifts and boatyard facilities. We currently employ 20 staff, 2 of which are trainees.

Our Workshop, Service, and Installation team is currently looking for a new member to start immediately or by arrangement in the position of

Deputy Workshop, Service, and Installation Manager

Your Tasks:
You will independently organize and process manufacturing orders. Your day-to-day role will involve providing organizational support to the Workshop, Service, and Installation Manager. In their absence, you will additionally take on responsibility for team leadership, organizing installation and service projects, and communicate directly with the project managers.

Your Profile:
You are a fully qualified mechanic and have several years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate has expanded their practical expertise through relevant further training courses. You are looking for the opportunity to take on more responsibility and are someone who thinks and acts strategically.

Certified Design Engineer

Job Description:

In the four-year vocational and educational training program (VET) as a design engineer, you will develop and model mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic devices and systems as well as tools and production systems. These may include a new boat lift, a boat dolly, or a chassis for a trailer tug. You will sketch your initial drafts on paper before designing three-dimensional models and manufacturing drawings on a computer using CAD programs. This will involve carrying out the necessary calculations and documenting the geometric form, the mass, and the details of the surface characteristics and materials in the plans. You will be involved in the projects you work on from start to finish – from concept design to commissioning. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in the area of digital engineering and scan existing parts using a 3-D scanner in order to optimize their design. You will also receive a free GA travelcard for the first three years of your training program.
